"At a very pivotal time in my life I was introduced to God's Women of Purpose early one Saturday morning during a breakfast event at Applebee's restaurant. I met Edith Brown and felt very welcomed. I shared my story with Edith and learned that she had similar experiences. I was able to connect with Edith on a different level. I was invited by a member and before the meeting was over I became a member of the organization. The women were so welcoming and the meeting was uplifting. The conversations and camarderie were very instrumental to me moving forward and finding a sense of self when I was going through my situation. I'm thankful to God for orchestrating our relationship and putting the best people in my path to help me with my healing, growth, and knowing that I could make it."

I was invited to join God's Women of Purpose in 2015 and I am grateful that I said yes. Since becoming apart of this ministry, these women have truly been a blessing. During a difficult time in my pregnancy, the ladies of this ministry prayed for me, and stood beside me when I needed it most. I will always carry that love and support in my heart. What I love most about God's Women of Purpose is the sisterhood, love, the prayers, and the way these women pour back to the community. Sister Edith is a living testimony of God's faithfulness, and through this ministry, I have witnessed the power of women coming together in faith and purpose. Every time I connect with this ministry I leave in encouraged, and reminded of God's love. I am truly grateful to be a part of God's Women of Purpose since 2015 and to call these amazing women sisters.

"My name is Elizabeth “Liz” Cooper, and I am from Killeen, Texas. I became a part of God’s Women of Purpose in 2023 because I was drawn to a ministry where women could come together, grow in their faith, encourage one another, and build genuine relationships centered around God. I am especially grateful for our founder, Sis. Edith, whose beautiful spirit and big heart are truly reflected throughout this ministry. I admire her passion for God and the way she shares His Word with such conviction, love, and purpose. Her heart for encouraging women and bringing us together is truly inspiring. GWOP has given me the opportunity to connect with women who pray for one another, support each other through life’s different seasons, and encourage one another to walk boldly in our God-given purpose. " Hello, my name is Latricia McMillan, but I am affectionately known as Tish. I have been a proud member of GWOP since 2024, and being connected to this sisterhood has truly been a blessing in my life. I first met Sister Edith at another conference, and from the very beginning, there was something special about her spirit. I could see that she was a woman who genuinely loved God and that there was a covering over her life. I was immediately drawn to her heart for God and the way she carried herself. As time went on, I was blessed to learn more about her ministry, her vision, and just how much GWOP means to her. GWOP—God’s Women of Purpose—is so much more than just a group of women. It is a beautiful and powerful sisterhood made up of women from all walks of life. Every woman brings her own story, her own testimony, her own strength, and her own God-given purpose. Even though our journeys may be different, we are connected by our love for God, our love for people, and our desire to be there for one another. One thing I can honestly say about these women is that they love hard. They give of themselves freely, they encourage, they uplift, and they are willing to reach out to someone who may be hurting, discouraged, or simply in need of a little hope. There is something so powerful about women who are willing to use their hearts, their voices, their experiences, and their gifts to help strengthen another woman. What I love most about GWOP is the unity. When there is work to be done, these women come together. They pray together, serve together, celebrate one another, encourage one another, and stand beside each other through both the victories and the difficult seasons of life. There is so much genuine love within this sisterhood, and it is a love you can truly feel. It is rooted in faith, compassion, service, sisterhood, and purpose. To me, GWOP is a beautiful example of what can happen when women of faith come together with willing hearts and a shared purpose. We are not just women gathered in one place. We are God’s Women of Purpose—standing together, praying together, serving together, loving one another, and allowing God to use us to make a difference in the lives of others.
