"At a very pivotal time in my life I was introduced to God's Women of Purpose early one Saturday morning during a breakfast event at Applebee's restaurant. I met Edith Brown and felt very welcomed. I shared my story with Edith and learned that she had similar experiences. I was able to connect with Edith on a different level. I was invited by a member and before the meeting was over I became a member of the organization. The women were so welcoming and the meeting was uplifting. The conversations and camarderie were very instrumental to me moving forward and finding a sense of self when I was going through my situation. I'm thankful to God for orchestrating our relationship and putting the best people in my path to help me with my healing, growth, and knowing that I could make it."

I was invited to join God's Women of Purpose in 2015 and I am grateful that I said yes. Since becoming apart of this ministry, these women have truly been a blessing. During a difficult time in my pregnancy, the ladies of this ministry prayed for me, and stood beside me when I needed it most. I will always carry that love and support in my heart. What I love most about God's Women of Purpose is the sisterhood, love, the prayers, and the way these women pour back to the community. Sister Edith is a living testimony of God's faithfulness, and through this ministry, I have witnessed the power of women coming together in faith and purpose. Every time I connect with this ministry I leave in encouraged, and reminded of God's love. I am truly grateful to be a part of God's Women of Purpose since 2015 and to call these amazing women sisters.

I am from Arlington, Texas and what God's Women of Purpose means to me is a sisterhood. Filled with loving and accepting women of all different ages, walks, and backgrounds coming together to unite in LOVE. In this sisterhood we not only pray, love, and encourage one another but we serve each other and those in need.
